Ella Purnell attended the Sydney screening of her Amazon Prime Video series Fallout Season 2, held earlier today at the Hoyts Entertainment Quarter.
If I were to describe Ella’s style, I would say it sits firmly in soft-goth territory with a vintage heart, and she is absolutely a confident experimenter. She has a talent for embracing fashion that feels a little bruised, a little romantic, and entirely her own.
This time, the mood was less experimental and more soft-goth, as she wore a Simone Rocha layered ribbon daisy chain multi-slit dress from the Fall 2025 collection. I have a feeling some won’t like this dress, but there’s no denying that Ella’s style sits perfectly in Simone Rocha’s rebellious yet romantic aesthetic.
The slits, the ribbons, the floral detailing — it all plays into that off-beat elegance Ella gravitates. There’s something very undone-yet-intentional about how she wears this dress, as though it’s been plucked from an old fairytale. Weather that is a good or bad thing, I will leave you to decide.
Duha Claudia metallic silver pumps added a sharp contrast, while Cartier jewels — including her Love bracelet — completed the look along with loose red waves, and a berry lip that tied everything together.
