The British metal band SYLOSIS has announced the details of their upcoming seventh studio album, titled “The New Flesh”, which is set to be released on February 20, 2026, under Nuclear Blast Records.

“Having spent a significant amount of the past two years touring, ‘The New Flesh’ and the subsequent tracks have been crafted with live performances in mind. There is an energy in these songs that we have not experienced on previous SYLOSIS albums.”
“We look forward to seeing all of you in 2026.”
The track listing for “The New Flesh” is as follows:

In January and February 2026, SYLOSIS will embark on their largest European tour to date, accompanied by REVOCATION, DISTANT, and LIFE CYCLES. They will also tour North America in April and May 2026, sharing the stage with BLEED FROM WITHIN, GREAT AMERICAN GHOST, and LIFE CYCLES.
SYLOSIS has consistently demonstrated their dedication to the art of heavy metal, and their urgency has intensified in recent times. Following the positive reception of their previous album, “A Sign Of Things To Come”, released in 2023, Josh Middleton and his band are set to deliver their most ambitious work yet, “The New Flesh”. This new album is a testament to powerful riffing, sharp melodies, and raw intensity, showcasing the band’s evolution into a formidable force in the metal scene.
“The New Flesh” serves as a bold declaration of their renewed focus. It features harder, heavier tracks filled with explosive, riff-driven anthems that promise to ignite the mosh pits. Yet, this album also showcases Josh Middleton‘s most thought-provoking songwriting to date. From the aggressive grooves of the opening track “Beneath The Surface” to the grand finale of “Seeds In The River”, “The New Flesh” represents a sophisticated take on the heavy metal genre that SYLOSIS cherishes.
With a blend of darkness and dynamism, SYLOSIS is in peak form with “The New Flesh”. The band’s purposeful evolution, which began with “The Sign Of Things To Come”, has transformed into an unstoppable force, and their latest release exudes confidence and authority. For fans seeking powerful contemporary heavy metal, “The New Flesh” promises to deliver an unprecedented experience.
