Smriti Mandhana’s Fiance Palash Muchhal Hospitalised Due To Stres…

In the wake of music composer Palash Muchhal being hospitalized following the unexpected postponement of his wedding to Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana, new information regarding his health has surfaced. Medical professionals attending to him indicated that Palash was admitted to the hospital after experiencing severe chest discomfort, primarily attributed to stress and emotional turmoil rather than a significant cardiac issue.

According to a report by Mid-day, Palash initially sought medical attention at a hospital in Sangli, where he received preliminary care. However, as his condition did not improve, he was transferred to a hospital in Mumbai late on Monday for further assessment. Dr. Dipendra Tripathi, one of the attending physicians, remarked, “Palash’s condition seems to be related to stress-induced distress rather than a serious cardiac event.”

Upon his arrival at SRV Hospital in Mumbai, Palash reportedly expressed severe chest pain, discomfort, and difficulty in breathing. Medical staff promptly conducted essential cardiac evaluations, including an ECG and a 2D echocardiogram. Although some test results indicated slightly elevated levels in certain parameters, doctors found no evidence of a major cardiac emergency. To stabilize his condition, oxygen therapy was initiated, and he was subsequently moved to a general room for observation.

Doctors now believe that the incident was primarily triggered by acute stress exacerbated by anxiety over recent developments. With adequate rest and supportive care, Palash’s health has significantly improved, and hospital officials have confirmed that he is stable and on the road to recovery. He is expected to be discharged soon, although medical advice suggests he should take complete rest for at least three weeks to ensure a full recovery and to prevent a recurrence of symptoms.

This update on Palash’s health follows the news that Smriti Mandhana’s father, Shrinivas Mandhana, was discharged from Sarvhit Hospital on November 25. He had experienced heart attack-like symptoms on the day of the originally scheduled wedding, November 23, which necessitated immediate hospitalization. Out of concern for Shrinivas’s health, Palash made the decision to postpone the wedding ceremonies until Shrinivas had recovered.

Additionally, a day later, Palash himself was admitted to the hospital due to stress. His mother informed Hindustan Times that Palash shares a close bond with Shrinivas, and the situation had a profound impact on him. Meanwhile, Smriti has removed all wedding-related posts from her Instagram account, leading to speculation among fans. The couple, who began dating in 2019, publicly confirmed their relationship in July 2024 with a post celebrating their fifth anniversary.
