British heavy metal band WOLFSBANE has unveiled an official music video for their new track “All Or Nothing.” This song is part of their latest album, “Live Faster,” which serves as a powerful reimagining of their classic debut, “Live Fast, Die Fast.” The original album was produced by Rick Rubin and released under Def American Recordings in 1989.
More than 35 years after its initial release and following numerous requests from fans, the original lineup of WOLFSBANE has re-recorded the entire album.
“Live Faster” is a fresh recording and is not simply a remix or remaster of the original work. It features reimagined versions of all ten tracks from “Live Fast, Die Fast.”
Track Listing:
01. Manhunt
02. Shakin’
03. Killing Machine
04. Fell Out Of Heaven
05. Money To Burn
06. Greasy
07. I Like It Hot
08. All Or Nothing
09. Tears From A Fool
10. Pretty Baby
The album features the original 1989 lineup, which includes:
Blaze Bayley – Vocals
Jase Edwards – Guitar
Jeff Hateley – Bass
Steve Danger – Drums
Edwards remarked, “You asked, we listened. None of us know how long we’ll be here on this earth, especially me, so it felt like the right time to remake the album in the way the band first envisioned it. It’s splendidly in your face and everything we hoped it would be.”
Bayley added, “It’s great to be able to revisit the vibe of these songs and use our current experience to re-record and reimagine them with Jase producing. It has been one of the most exciting projects we’ve undertaken, and we didn’t expect it to be so enjoyable.”
Danger humorously commented, “BLACK LEATHER JACKET! A new one, because my old faithful no longer zips up due to a life full of experiences. Experiences equal cake!”
Hateley summarized the experience, stating, “People have asked us to do this for years. We’ve always declined. But we realized that we still perform most of these songs live, and they’ve evolved over time. Now felt like the right moment to revisit them, our way. The same but different, different but the same.”
WOLFSBANE emerged from the Midlands in the mid-1980s and signed with Rick Rubin‘s Def American label in 1989. They garnered a devoted fanbase known as “howling mad shitheads” (HMS) and released three energetic albums before disbanding in 1994, when Bayley joined IRON MAIDEN.
In 2011, WOLFSBANE reunited to record their first studio album in 17 years, titled “Wolfsbane Save The World,” which was released in January 2012 to critical acclaim.
The band’s latest album, “Genius,” was released in June 2022, marking their first album in a decade. The cover art for this LP was created by Simon “Mackie” Piasecki, who also designed the artwork for WOLFSBANE‘s 1990 EP “All Hell’s Breaking Loose Down At Little Kathy Wilson’s Place” and their 1991 album “Down Fall The Good Guys.”
