During a panel at BravoCon, Kyle Richards mentioned that she said “Goodbye Ken” to Lisa Vanderpump and her husband, Ken Todd, after encountering them at the Beverly Hills Hotel, mimicking a famous line from their past friendship.
Support from Former Cast Members
In an interview with Us Weekly, Lisa was asked about conversations with former cast members regarding the reboot. She noted, “Lala said she’s going to be supportive. Stassi, who I work with now in Vanderpump Villa, can’t wait to watch it. Schwartz is supportive, but the rest, no. I’ve heard some negative things.”

Lisa recounted a recent meeting with Brittany, who had expressed that she felt neglected by Lisa. Vanderpump responded, “I have I don’t know how many hundreds of people working for me. Call me, I’m always here. I greeted her like I always do, but I hadn’t heard that she’d said something nasty about me. It’s a shame, really.”

Regarding Lala and Tom Schwartz’s involvement in the upcoming show The Valley, Lisa remarked, “I think it’s great. I mean, they’re great reality stars and they’re very honest. And I think that comes with experience as well. … You jump into it. I just love Schwartzy … I think most people do.”

In a discussion with Entertainment Tonight, Lisa addressed Scheana Shay’s assertion in her memoir that Lisa used to provide her with information. She acknowledged that, as a producer, she would give cast members “the heads up,” but emphasized her support for them and her aversion to negativity. Reflections on the Reboot Decision
Regarding the decision to reboot Vanderpump Rules, Lisa expressed, “I was always very honest when I talked with production about not wanting to go down on a sinking ship. … I felt that Vanderpump Rules was at its high, being nominated for Emmys. We had great ratings, but I felt like we told the story. And I thought at some point that it became a little bit more complicated to film. … The dynamic was broken. It was shattered in so many ways. And I thought it was time to do something new.”
Lisa concluded by hinting that the new cast is “very outspoken.”
