Megan Thee Stallion has successfully provided Thanksgiving meals to nearly 2,000 families in Texas.

This initiative was made possible through a partnership between her Pete & Thomas Foundation and Walmart earlier this week, aimed at supporting families in her home state.

In anticipation of Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 27, Megan organized a Turkey Drive in Dallas. During this event, she and her foundation distributed turkeys, vegetables, side dishes, desserts, and $50 Walmart gift cards to over 1,200 families.

Additionally, earlier in the week, the foundation awarded a grant to a local church in Houston, Megan’s hometown, which subsequently provided turkeys to more than 500 families.

The Pete & Thomas Foundation, established in 2022, honors Megan’s late parents, Holly Thomas and Joseph Pete III. The nonprofit is dedicated to uplifting women, children, senior citizens, and underserved communities in Houston and beyond, as stated on their website.

In related news, Megan’s single “Lover Girl,” released on October 24, marked the return of rap to the U.S. Top 40 after a two-week hiatus, the first absence of the genre from the chart since 1990.

Details regarding the new album remain limited; however, Megan expressed her desire to collaborate with Doechii for the project earlier this year.

In a five-star review of last year’s “Megan: Act II,” NME praised her, stating, “Megan confirms why she’s ‘the baddest bitch out right now’ once again. Despite the challenges she has faced in recent years, she firmly stands at the pinnacle of the rap world, poised for a potential coronation in the near future.”
