Lane Kiffin, head coach of Ole Miss, stands out as a prominent figure in college football. With numerous victories leading the Rebels, Kiffin has cemented his legacy in the sport. Above all, he is a father to three children: daughters Landry and Presley, and son Monte, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Layla Kiffin.
In September 2025, Kiffin made headlines when his daughter Landry began dating LSU linebacker Whit Weeks. Following a game where his team triumphed over the LSU Tigers, Kiffin appeared to make a light-hearted jab at Weeks during a post-game interview.
“We have confidence in our players, and we often go for it on fourth down. I’m pleased with the plays we made,” Kiffin stated, adding, “I’m looking for Whit right now to see if we covered the over.”
Below, we provide insights into Lane Kiffin’s three children and their family dynamics.

Landry Kiffin
Landry Kiffin, the eldest of Coach Kiffin’s children, was born in December 2004. She spent her early years in Los Angeles while her father was coaching at the University of Southern California. Currently, she is pursuing a degree in business administration at Ole Miss, as indicated on her LinkedIn profile.
Landry featured in the documentary E60: The Many Lives of Lane Kiffin, where she discussed her transition to Ole Miss after her father took on the coaching role there.
“I hadn’t lived with him since before he went to [University of Alabama],” Landry shared. “We definitely grew much closer than we had ever been.”
When her father contemplated a coaching change, Landry devised a creative way to persuade him to remain with the Rebels.
“My friends and I created a slideshow collage set to a song we knew would evoke emotion in him, hoping he would reconsider his decision,” Landry recounted in the documentary. “We presented it on a movie projector screen, and after watching it, he was visibly moved to tears. Subsequently, he decided to stay, so it was effective.”
Lane expressed admiration for his daughter’s persuasive approach, stating, “Sometimes your children can provide insights that remind you of important considerations. That was a significant moment for me. I wasn’t necessarily planning to leave, but that influenced my decision.”
Presley Kiffin
Presley Kiffin, the second child of Lane Kiffin, was born in October 2006. She is currently enrolled at the University of Southern California, where she is also a member of the volleyball team.
Monte Knox Kiffin
Monte Kiffin, the youngest of the Kiffin family, was born in January 2009. He has followed in his father’s footsteps by aspiring to play collegiate football, relocating from Los Angeles to Mississippi to pursue his ambitions. Monte has received multiple offers from various college teams, including Southern Methodist University, Sacramento State, and Florida International University.
