Congratulations are extended to Vanessa Hudgens and her husband, Cole Tucker!
On Saturday, the actress shared on Instagram that she and her husband welcomed their second child.
“Well…. I did it. Had another baby!!! What a wild ride labor is,” Hudgens, 36, wrote alongside a photo of herself smiling in a hospital bed, holding Tucker’s hand. “A heartfelt shout out to all the mothers. It’s truly remarkable what our bodies can achieve .”
The High School Musical star’s fans and fellow celebrities quickly filled the comments section of her post with congratulations for the couple’s new arrival.
“Congrats angel Love you!!!!,” commented Hudgens’ High School Musical co-star, Monique Coleman.
“Congrats Vanessa! Super Mom vibes,” added fellow Disney alum Aly Michalka.
“Congratulations gorgeous mama bear. Well done. It’s truly a miracle. ,” wrote Jurnee Smollett, while Zoey Deutch chimed in with, “CONGRATS .”
Mario Lopez also congratulated the couple with a simple, “Congrats!.” Christina Ricci remarked on Hudgens’ photo, calling it the “cutest delivery pic ever!!”
While Hudgens did not disclose specific details about their new family member, she did mention that she experienced a blood vessel rupture in her eye during labor. The Caliwater co-founder shared a selfie that appeared to show the aftermath of the incident.
“Labor. Poppin out babies and blood vessels loooool,” she captioned the photo.
The announcement of Hudgens and Tucker’s second child follows a Thanksgiving post from the actress that led some fans to speculate about her having given birth, although the timing of the photo remains unclear.
“How I feel. Very grateful. Very happy. And (not pictured) very tired lol happy thanksgiving everyone ,” she captioned that post, expressing her gratitude.
Hudgens and Tucker announced in July that they were expecting their second child through a joint Instagram post.
“Round two!!!!” Hudgens wrote in the Instagram post at that time.
Hudgens and Tucker began their relationship in 2020 and were married in December 2023.
Just a few months later, Hudgens revealed she was expecting her first child during the 2024 Oscars in March 2024, showcasing her baby bump on the red carpet.
In July 2024, Hudgens and Tucker welcomed their first child, whose name remains private.
