EXCLUSIVE

Kel Mitchell is eager to collaborate with his friend Kenan Thompson once more.
“We’ll see what happens. We’re always talking about new things,” the comedian, 47, shared in an exclusive interview with OK! about his involvement with the World Vision Gift Catalog, which offers over 100 lifesaving gifts. “We have individual projects, but we also want to reunite because we did Good Burger 2, and fans are asking for more! We’ve been reviewing scripts, speaking with directors, and writers.”

Since meeting as teenagers in 1994 on Nickelodeon’s All That, their friendship has flourished. They later starred in Kenan & Kel in 1996. “It’s refreshing because you don’t always maintain these connections,” Mitchell explained. “Seeing each other feels like a high school reunion, and it’s great to have built a friendship through these projects. There’s more to come.”

Mitchell, who has four children, recently reunited with All That co-star Josh Server. “We have a thriller coming out together called Heading East. It’s exciting to see us in dramatic roles,” he said. “We had a blast filming, and it’s really cool.”

Mitchell is enthusiastic about his career path. “It’s great to explore different roles. I have two thrillers coming out this year, and I’m thrilled,” he said. “I’m also involved in Play It Forward: Game On, which supports youth groups with sports equipment. It’s a heartfelt show that also makes you laugh.”

Mitchell’s partnership with the World Vision Gift Catalog aligns with his commitment to giving back. The catalog offers over 100 gifts that can change lives. “Giving Tuesday is about helping others, and I’m passionate about that,” he said. “World Vision provides essential resources worldwide, and I’m excited to support their efforts.”

Mitchell instills the value of generosity in his children. “They choose toys to give away, which teaches them the joy of giving,” he shared.
