Nikki Glaser is set to host the Golden Globe Awards for a second consecutive year in 2026.

Nominations
Nominees for the 83rd Golden Globe Awards were announced on December 8, 2025. The new Best Podcast category includes nominations for Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” and Amy Poehler’s “Good Hang.” Jacob Elordi received multiple nominations for his performances in Frankenstein and The Narrow Road to the Deep North. The TV series Severance and The Pitt also received several nominations.
Host
Nikki Glaser will return as host for the 2026 Golden Globe Awards. Her successful debut in 2025 led to an invitation to host again, which she accepted with enthusiasm.
“Hosting the Golden Globes was the most fun I’ve ever had in my career,” Glaser stated. “I’m excited to return, and hopefully catch the attention of The White Lotus team for a potential role.”

Carol Burnett Award
The Carol Burnett Award, honoring exceptional contributions to television, will be presented to Sarah Jessica Parker in 2026. Parker has previously won six Golden Globes.
“Sarah Jessica Parker’s career exemplifies the spirit of this award,” Hoehne stated. “Her impact on television and dedication to storytelling are truly remarkable.”

Parker’s achievements will be highlighted in the Golden Eve special on January 8, 2026, on CBS and Paramount+.
Cecil B. DeMille Award
The Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement in film will be awarded to Helen Mirren. Mirren has previously won three Golden Globes, including Best Actress for The Queen in 2006.
“Helen Mirren’s extraordinary career continues to inspire,” Hoehne said. “Her performances and dedication to her craft are truly exceptional.”
Mirren will also be featured in the Golden Eve special.
