General Hospital Episode Recap: December 9
Carly’s Task for Valentin
On Tuesday’s episode of General Hospital, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) conveyed a message from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to his daughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke). Meanwhile, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) sought answers from her captor.
Valentin’s Request
Valentin entered Carly’s home after Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) had left, but Carly wanted him gone due to Donna Corinthos’ (Scarlett Spears) imminent return. Valentin assured Carly he could avoid Donna and asked her to relay a message to Anna, but Anna was unavailable.
After discussing a WSB assignment, Valentin asked Carly for a favor. He needed her to leave a key with a blue ribbon for Charlotte, indicating his safety and instructing her to stay put.
Delivery of the Message
Carly visited Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) house under the guise of checking on her. Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) arrived, wanting a private conversation with Lulu, prompting Carly to leave. On her way out, Carly discreetly placed the key under the porch.
Charlotte later found the key and understood it was from Valentin. Carly returned home and informed Valentin she had completed the task. Valentin decided to stay at Carly’s until Anna returned, taking refuge in the attic.
Ongoing Investigations
Elsewhere, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) discussed with Lulu the possibility of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) being involved in Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) death. ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) also questioned Mac Scorpio (John J. York) about Sonny’s potential involvement.
Turner, while not wanting to prosecute Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) for a crime he didn’t commit, was determined to hold Sonny accountable if he was responsible for Dalton’s demise.
Sonny’s Dilemma
At Sonny’s residence, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) was shocked to learn that Sidwell had the murder weapon with her DNA. Sonny explained he was being coerced into selling piers to Sidwell but hoped to regain control.
Britt’s Encounter
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) woke up hungover and assumed Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) wanted answers about some medication. Jason was patient, waiting for Britt to be ready to talk. Britt got emotional and asked Jason to leave, despite appreciating his help.
Alexis and Drew’s Preparation
At Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) place, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) prepared for a trial with Alexis, reliving the night of a shooting. Although hesitant, Drew followed Alexis’ guidance, while Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) insisted on testifying.
Future Developments
Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) visited Britt with a key fob for a new lab, indicating that Sidwell could replace her if needed. At the PCPD, Dante discussed Anna’s potential involvement in Valentin’s escape. Meanwhile, Anna, held captive, tried to calm herself and demanded answers from her captor.
