After the Reunion: Tensions Rise Between Alexis Bellino and Gretchen Rossi
The recent reunion of The Real Housewives of Orange County may have concluded, but the surrounding controversy continues to intensify. Alexis Bellino has cast significant doubt on the cyber analysis presented by Gretchen Rossi during the reunion, leading to a heated exchange between the two.
During the reunion, Tamra Judge confronted Gretchen with screenshots purportedly showing homophobic posts that Gretchen had “liked.” In response, Gretchen disclosed that a cyber analyst determined that the most extreme post was likely fabricated using imaging software and artificial intelligence. She further claimed that Tamra had connections to the accounts spreading hate.
Now, Alexis is publicly challenging the credibility of the cyber analysis. In an appearance on Reality with The King, she humorously likened her investigative efforts to those of a reporter on Dateline NBC.
“Did you see what came out about the guy who wrote that cyber analysis? He is Slade’s friend, he was on Slade’s podcast five years ago, which raises questions about his credibility,” Alexis stated. She further argued that the technical assertions made in the report were questionable.
“A private investigator cannot hack Instagram; that would be illegal. Instagram only complies with requests from law enforcement backed by a valid court order. There is no way they could have obtained that information, and it’s implausible that Gretchen spent thousands of dollars in such a short timeframe for a PI to get law enforcement involved and access DMs through special tools. Such tools do not exist,” she asserted.
Alexis also questioned how the analyst could have obtained any information without a subpoena. “How did he gather his facts if he didn’t subpoena Instagram or involve law enforcement?” she asked. “Anyone who believes that cyber analysis must have a very low IQ.”
In response, Gretchen did not hold back. On November 24, she addressed Alexis’ allegations in a pointed Instagram post.
“Alexis, you sound foolish. You’re discussing something you know nothing about and clearly are not a competent investigator,” Gretchen wrote. “The report presented at the reunion is unrelated to the private investigator who was on our podcast years ago. He came forward only as a secondary source.”
Gretchen emphasized that the expert responsible for the reunion report had no ties to Slade. “The analysis discussed at the reunion was conducted by a former CIA analyst, who is not Slade’s friend, and the parent company has government contracts,” she explained. She further clarified that the production team and network had thoroughly vetted the report: “The company had to sign a release for its use at the reunion, and the production and network are fully aware of who it is. It is not the private investigator you are claiming.”
Gretchen concluded her response with a sharp remark: “This is a desperate attempt to involve yourself in something you clearly know nothing about, and it makes you look pathetic. So sit down, clown, and stop pretending to be Sherlock Holmes.”
