Amanda Bynes is addressing that new shocking rumor about her and Dan Schneider!
Last year, the Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV documentary brought more to light the allegedly inappropriate, creepy, and toxic workplace behavior on the sets of many of the executive producer’s Nickelodeon shows. Before that, we already heard alarming allegations for years, like him sitting in on costume fittings, taking pictures of minors’ feet, and encouraging kids to drink. And then there’s the Amanda stuff.

Quiet on Set dove into his odd close relationship with the then-teenager. When Amanda came on to the scene, other Nickelodeon alums claimed they began spending a lot of time together. It is gross to think about since he’s an adult, and she is a child. Then there’s the disgusting content he wrote for her. Remember that hot tub scene for The Amanda Show? Amanda, who is a minor, is wearing a swimsuit in a hot tub next to a fully clothed Dan. Ick. All That alum Lori Beth Denberg also later claimed she had to try to protect the “gaunt” and overworked actress from him at one point. Now, one of the most disturbing rumors we’ve heard about Dan is circulating online…
This week, a video emerged on TikTok of Amanda sitting at a diner. The caption, however, is the most concerning part. It read:
“The man I got pregnant with him at the age of 13!”
WHAT!?
It then cuts to that hot tub footage of Amanda and Dan. OMG. The next caption said:
“I’m sorry for not making your childhood happy again!”

That would obviously be sickening if true. However, according to Amanda, it is NOT! The Easy A star told TMZ on Friday that the video did not come from her account, and that it’s all “lies for click bait.” She claimed the first clip is from a recent Instagram Story she posted, spliced together with the old clip from The Amanda Show. Phew. We were worried for a second…
Amanda also took to her real TikTok to tell everyone that:
“FYI – THIS IS NOT MY ACCOUNT! This account has been making ridiculous allegations and saying things that I would never say. PLEASE REPORT TO @tiktok”
She added:
“I don’t know why TikTok refuses to take the account in question down.”
