Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas have faced significant backlash this season on “Dancing With The Stars,” with online trolls sending them a barrage of hurtful messages, which they are now discussing publicly.
The duo appeared on Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast, where they candidly shared their experiences with the negativity they encountered during season 34.
Whitney, who has been portrayed as a villain on “Mormon Wives,” noted that many “DWTS” viewers directed their frustrations toward her and Mark for various reasons.

Whitney revealed that the online hate was particularly challenging for her to handle, especially since Mark was also impacted by the negativity.
During the podcast, Mark shared one of the harsh messages he received, stating that someone told him, “You’re completely worthless and I hope you burn in hell one day.”

Mark indicated that this was merely a glimpse of the negativity they faced.
Although they did not reach the finals, some audience members felt that the judges were showing favoritism towards them. Additionally, there were claims that Whitney appeared to smirk when another couple was eliminated, while others criticized Mark for being able to perform his own guitar riffs.
