The Fashion Trust Arabia 2025 Awards Ceremony took place at the National Museum of Qatar in Doha on Friday, drawing a glamorous cross-section of designers, muses, and global fashion figures. The gold-leaf backdrop alone told you it was going to be a night where everyone dressed with intent — some leaning classic, some archival, and some giving us pure celebrity sparkle.
Icy Elegance
Juliette Binoche was radiant in a pale blue Prada gown. The sculpted satin neckline gave the look a statuesque quality, even if the darts were a tiny bit distracting on close inspection. Still, the overall impression was serene and romantic, especially with the Chopard jewels catching the light.

Archival Queen
Anna Wintour arrived in a Prada print from the Fall 2004 collection, a choice that felt completely true to her personal style playbook. But part of me wishes she had opted for a local designer — imagine the message that would’ve sent on this particular stage.

Soft Blush
Emma Roberts’ Valentino Resort 2026 halter dress may read as very close to her skin tone, but her red hair, warm makeup, and the detailed bodice kept everything harmonious rather than washed out.

Velvet Noir
Georgina Rodríguez doesn’t always dress for the occasion, but this time she leaned into elegance with an archival Azzedine Alaïa Fall/Winter 1993 black dress. The ribbed texture and structured silhouette did all the work, while the Messika jewels added to the evening glamour.

Shimmer Goddess
Gisele Bündchen’s Valentino Spring 2026 look felt perfectly in tune with the Doha setting — a lot of shine. Some might feel that the look including the Valentino Garavani DeVain bag feels a little casual in this setting, but it reads true to her style. Jimmy Choo Etana sandals completed the look.

Twin Glamour
Lady Amelia and Lady Eliza Spencer wore Zuhair Murad Fall 2025 gowns, embracing jewel-box princess fantasy. Amelia wore the mauve chiffon, Eliza the seafoam strapless. The delicate beading, pastel tones, and statement jewellery fit the mood of the night beautifully. This was an event made for opulence, and the twins delivered exactly that.

Sleek Simplicity
Lindsay Lohan kept things surprisingly pared back in a black strapless gown by The New Arrivals. It’s clean, unfussy, and the crystal-trimmed bodice adds just enough sparkle to keep it from feeling too safe. Grown Brilliance jewels tied it all together. It might not be groundbreaking, but it’s fits her current style chapter.

Fabric Overload
I adore Lori Harvey’s style and I adore Zuhair Murad. But this butter-yellow Spring 2025 Couture gown isn’t quite landing. The volume is swallowing her, even with it sitting quite low. I appreciate the attempt at something different for her, and the styling tried its best, but it’s a rare miss from someone who almost always delivers.

Couture Time Capsule
Natalia Vodianova wore the original runway version of the Christian Lacroix Spring 1996 Couture gown, which Mona Patel customised at the 2024 Fashion Awards. Natalia’s take works in a grand setting like this, but that heavy, crinkled skirt keeps the overall look firmly in 1996. Mona’s modernised version suddenly makes even more sense to me.

Midnight Drama
As the evening’s host, Queen Latifah stepped out in Kilian Kerner Berlin gown and brought a sweeping sense of occasion with her. The sculpted black velvet and exaggerated satin draping created an opera-ready silhouette that filled the room the moment she arrived. It felt regal — exactly what you want from a host.

Sculpted
Regina King’s Elie Saab Spring 2025 Haute Couture gown was exquisite on her. The structured folds of the satin shawl played beautifully against the fluid skirt, giving her an elevated, statuesque look that felt perfectly in tune with the event’s luxury setting.
