The season concludes with Garrick Merrifield revealing surprising news to his wives, Dannielle and Lorrana.
The family continues their search for a third wife. Garrick indicated that if they were to find someone from abroad again, it might be best for Dannielle to marry her.
This announcement caught Dannielle off guard, prompting her to respond, “I wasn’t aware of that.”
Garrick elaborated, “She can obtain her green card, but it typically takes about 5 to 10 years for her to achieve citizenship.”
In response, Dannielle expressed, “I feel like this is a discussion we need to have. I thought the adjustment of status would take a couple of years, and that they could divorce afterward. I didn’t realize it would take so long… and that it would be my responsibility to marry someone from another country.”
