Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], November 28: Jake Joss, an Indian creator and songwriter, has reached two significant milestones in AI-assisted music and video, marking a notable achievement for independent artists in India. By integrating personal narratives with generative technology, he has developed two innovative projects that have no previous global equivalents, both completed within a single year.

The first of these accomplishments is the world’s inaugural fully AI-generated music video, where both the song and visuals were created using prompt engineering. Titled “Daddy,” this project commenced with lyrics penned by Jake, inspired by his personal experiences. He utilized AI tools to compose the music and construct the entire visual narrative through text prompts. Each frame was meticulously crafted through written instructions, culminating in a cohesive story that showcases a novel approach to music video creation without conventional production methods.

This achievement has been officially recognized by the India Book of Records, which has honored Jake as an IBR Achiever, highlighting “Daddy” as the first music video produced using this innovative technique.

Following this, Jake launched another groundbreaking project: the world’s first Human-AI collaborative patriotic music album, featuring fully AI-generated music videos for each track. The five-track album, titled “Azaadi,” delves into themes of identity, belonging, and modern patriotism. Each song is accompanied by its own AI-generated video, developed through detailed scene-level prompts, resulting in five distinct visual narratives. This makes “Azaadi” the first patriotic album globally where every track is visually interpreted through generative AI.

Jake’s creative journey has consistently been anchored in real-life memories and everyday moments that influenced his early musical endeavors. His first song, “Doosra Pyaar,” was written for his daughter, while “Birdie” encapsulated lighthearted childhood humor. His Hindustani fusion piece “Eri Aali,” created alongside his daughter, blended classical influences with contemporary expression.

Another significant aspect of Jake’s evolution is “Electric Current.” Initially a playful tune from his childhood, it became a favorite among his cousins. Years later, with the aid of generative AI tools, he was able to fully realize the melody as a high-energy English track. This revival illustrates how AI can empower artists to revisit past ideas and develop them into complete works.

These experiences have shaped Jake’s philosophy of merging emotion, curiosity, and experimentation. He views technology not as a substitute for human creativity but as a tool that expands the possibilities for individual creators without the need for extensive teams or traditional resources. “My music did not begin with AI. It began with personal memories and moments. AI simply helped me express those feelings differently. The heart remains human. The tool is just new,” he states.

Jake’s achievements come at a time when India is solidifying its status as a center for digital creativity, storytelling, and technological innovation. As generative AI continues to impact music, film, and design globally, his work exemplifies how independent Indian creators can forge new formats without institutional backing or substantial budgets. It also underscores the potential for major creative breakthroughs to arise from individual innovators rather than large studios.

With two world-first accomplishments completed in under a year and an expanding portfolio that encompasses personal storytelling, childhood inspirations, and modern AI-driven experimentation, Jake embodies a new generation of Indian creators exploring the possibilities of blending imagination with technology. His work highlights how Indian storytellers can lead the way in pioneering new creative formats and contribute significantly to the global advancement of AI-enabled art.
