Kyle Richards Expands Her Real Estate Portfolio While Keeping Location Secret
In a conversation with The Daily Dish in November 2025, Kyle Richards, a prominent star of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, discussed her latest property acquisition and her passion for real estate investment.
“I just bought another home,” Kyle disclosed, emphasizing her enthusiasm for real estate as her preferred investment avenue. “People often invest in stocks or other assets, but for me, real estate is where my heart lies. I am incredibly passionate about it. It’s the first thing I check each morning. While others might be looking at emails, I’m always browsing real estate listings. I’m familiar with the market in nearly every state.”
Kyle, who separated from her husband Mauricio Umansky in 2023, already owns multiple properties, including their primary residence in Encino, a vacation home in Palm Springs, and a long-standing retreat in Aspen.
Earlier this year, Kyle hinted at a desire to escape the public eye. In May, she told DailyMail.com, “I’ve been telling my friends that I want to move to a farm and go off the grid. The environment is so toxic and negative; I can’t tolerate it anymore. I want to live off the land and avoid social media.”
Despite her aspirations for a simpler life and Mauricio’s ownership of a significant real estate brokerage, Kyle confirmed that they do not intend to sell any of their current properties. “Mau and I have discussed it, and we don’t want to part with any of our homes,” she stated to The Daily Dish.
Space is a crucial requirement for Kyle, a mother of four. During an Amazon Live session, she explained that her decision to remain in her current home post-separation was largely practical. “I’m still in my house because I have too many dogs to move elsewhere,” she said in 2024.
Regarding their $8 million Encino residence, which she meticulously renovated, Kyle indicated she plans to keep it indefinitely. In an interview with BravoTV.com, she mentioned, “Even if I eventually move to Aspen, I’ll retain it for my children.”
Kyle Richards is actively purchasing new properties and contemplating a rural lifestyle while managing her new chapter following her separation from Mauricio. However, she remains committed to the homes she has invested both emotionally and financially in.
