During an exclusive photoshoot with RSVP Country, Jonathan, his wife Oniesa, and their daughter Esmé discussed his collaboration with Patrick Kielty, balancing work with family, and the process of creating hit songs.

Path to Musical Director

Jonathan Owens was initially part of The Late Late Show for its Country Specials, serving as musical director for those episodes. Over time, he contributed as a session musician for various acts. His full-time role emerged during the pandemic when he was invited to work with the house band. Despite initial hesitations due to the commitment required, he embraced the opportunity and is now in his fifth season.
