Podcast Host Reflects on Impactful Episode and Family Holiday Plans
Lottie Ryan has expressed her pride in her sister Bonnie for openly discussing her fertility challenges. Bonnie recently disclosed that she cannot conceive naturally, news that came as a surprise after years of speculation about starting a family with her husband, John.
The sisters addressed this sensitive topic on their successful podcast, “No One Else Will Listen,” which resonated with many listeners facing similar struggles. Lottie commended Bonnie’s courage in sharing her story to support others.
Lottie shared with RSVP Live, “We were thrilled with the overwhelming response, especially for such a personal topic. It shows we’re creating meaningful content that connects with our audience.”
She added, “It’s challenging to share such personal stories without knowing the reaction, but when it’s positive, it feels rewarding to help others feel understood.”
Lottie, protective yet proud of her sister, admitted she was surprised by Bonnie’s decision to speak out. “I didn’t expect it, but I support her choice to share when she’s ready,” she said.
Lottie assured Bonnie that if she changed her mind, they wouldn’t release the episode. However, Bonnie felt relief and hoped to encourage empathy and understanding from others.
The sisters have both faced online negativity, which Lottie finds perplexing. “Many preach kindness online but don’t practice it,” she noted.
She emphasized the importance of genuine kindness, stating, “It’s easy to be kind, and it costs nothing. We should always consider what others might be going through.”
Family Holiday Traditions
As Christmas approaches, Lottie and her husband Fabio are preparing to make the season special for their four-year-old son, Wolf.
“This year, he fully understands the holiday,” Lottie shared. “He’s been excited about every season, and now he’s eagerly anticipating Christmas.”
The family plans to celebrate with both Lottie’s and Fabio’s families, enjoying a mix of traditional and Italian holiday meals.
Promoting Sustainable Gifting
This year, Lottie is collaborating with Yoto’s Christmas Campaign to promote sustainable gift choices. The Yoto Player, an award-winning audio device, offers screen-free entertainment for children aged 3 to 12.
Lottie appreciates the Yoto Player for its educational value and longevity, saying, “It’s perfect for screen-free time and keeps Wolf entertained.”
