Seth Meyers is a prominent figure in late-night comedy, but his role as a father takes precedence. To celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday in 2025, Seth featured his three children—Ashe, Axel, and Adelaide—on his show to talk about their Christmas card photo shoot.
“Last week, my kids came in to shoot their Christmas card photo,” Seth shared. “We create a little video each year where they dress as turkeys, which is always a memorable event. This time, however, I surprised them by bringing them out in front of our audience without any warning and interviewed them for the first time.”
During the interview, Seth asked his children about their costumes for the card.
“Ashe, what did you dress up as this year? It’s always a themed photo,” he inquired, to which Ashe replied, “We were [characters from] Elf.”

Is Seth Meyers Married?
Seth has been married to his wife, Alexi Ashe, since 2013. Alexi is a human rights attorney and met Seth at a wedding in 2008.
In a previous episode of the “Strike Force Five” podcast, Seth reminisced about the immediate connection he felt with Alexi.
“Alexi and I hit it off so well that by Saturday, people were asking us how long we had been together,” he recalled, adding humorously, “That’s how flirty we were on our second day. It took me five years to propose, though!”

How Many Children Does Seth Meyers Have?
Seth is the father of three children, all of whom he shares with Alexi: Ashe, Axel, and Adelaide. He has previously discussed his experiences of fatherhood in an interview with The New York Times.
“I had high hopes for fatherhood, and it has exceeded them,” Seth mentioned in February 2019. “Having been close to my father as a child, I hoped for the same with my boys, and it has been true so far. When I leave for work, my son gives me a running hug, and even with a busy day ahead, I know I’ve already experienced the best part of my day. That’s surprisingly fulfilling.”
Ashe Meyers
Ashe is Seth’s eldest child, born on March 27, 2016. During a Late Night episode that year, Seth revealed that Ashe was named after his mother.
“We chose the name Ashe, which is my wife’s maiden name,” Seth explained. “It’s a perfect way to honor her.”
Axel Meyers
Axel is the second child of Seth and Alexi, born on April 8, 2018. Seth shared that Axel’s birth was quite dramatic for Alexi. He recounted that after calling 911, she was already in labor, and their building’s doorman and neighbors stepped in to assist her during the delivery.
“It was an incredible display of kindness from people we hardly knew,” Seth remarked.
Adelaide Meyers
Adelaide is the youngest and only daughter in the Meyers family, born in September 2021. Seth mentioned that Alexi gave birth to their daughter at home.
