Olivia Nuzzi’s Los Angeles Outing Amid Paparazzi Concerns
Olivia Nuzzi was seen hiking alone in Los Angeles on Tuesday, following her complaints about persistent paparazzi attention the same day.
Exclusive images reveal the Vanity Fair editor appearing contemplative while enjoying her solitary outdoor excursion.
After completing her hike, she left the area in a white Ford Mustang.
Casual Outing Attire
Nuzzi, 32, wore black leggings, a matching long-sleeved top, hiking boots, and black sunglasses for her outing.
This marks her first public appearance since her memoir, “American Canto,” faced criticism.
Despite being described as a “powerful personal history,” critics like Helen Lewis of The Atlantic labeled it a “tell-nothing memoir.”
Memoir Criticism and Public Response
The New York Times called her memoir “self-serious and altogether disappointing,” while The Washington Post described it as “highly uneven and largely forgettable.”
Nuzzi responded to the critiques on Instagram, listing signs of a problematic book rollout, including persistent paparazzi attention.
“A paparazzo trying to justify invading your privacy ominously adds, ‘This never ends,'” she posted.
Controversial Past and Relationship Issues
Monica Lewinsky reportedly reached out to Nuzzi, concerned for her mental health. Nuzzi also joked about fabricating emails with Jeffrey Epstein to improve press coverage.
Another suggestion she received was to “pivot to screenwriting.”
Nuzzi gained attention last fall due to a sexting scandal with RFK Jr.
In September 2024, Nuzzi acknowledged her relationship with the former presidential candidate after he allegedly shared intimate images.
Subsequently, she filed a no-contact order against her ex-fiancé Ryan Lizza, who claimed she had been unfaithful with RFK Jr.
Due to the scandal, Nuzzi was suspended and later dismissed from New York Magazine for violating conflict of interest policies.
RFK Jr., married to Cheryl Hines since 2014, denied Nuzzi’s claims, stating they met only for an interview.
Nuzzi’s engagement to Lizza ended, confirmed by The Post, amid the controversy.
Cheryl Hines, 60, has remained supportive of her husband, even after his mother’s passing.
