Reality Star Chase McWhorter Addresses Arrest

Chase McWhorter, known for “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” has spoken out about his arrest over the summer for DUI and cocaine possession.

McWhorter, previously married to MomTok’s Miranda McWhorter, confirmed the arrest in a TikTok video. He explained the incident, which involved driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance. Court records show he faced three misdemeanor charges in July, including driving on a suspended license. His bail was set at $2,500.

In his video, McWhorter admitted to making a “shortsighted, selfish, and dangerous decision” after leaving a pool party following an altercation. He acknowledged the seriousness of his actions and praised law enforcement for ensuring road safety.

McWhorter expressed regret for not using a rideshare service and acknowledged the potential dangers of his actions. He described the arrest as a humiliating experience and emphasized the need for personal accountability.

The reality star, who shares two children with his ex-wife Miranda, discussed the impact of his actions on his family. He admitted to disappointing Miranda multiple times and is now working through the legal consequences with his attorney.

McWhorter ended his video with an apology, stating, “I am deeply regretful of the decision that I made.” He assured viewers that he is dealing with the consequences and emphasized his commitment to not repeating such behavior.

Chase missed his initial court appearance, resulting in an arrest warrant. He pleaded not guilty through his attorney on November 5, and the warrant was recalled on November 18. His lawyer emphasized McWhorter’s presumption of innocence.

Miranda McWhorter humorously commented on the situation, while fellow “Mormon Wives” star Zac Affleck praised Chase for taking responsibility.
