Salley Carson sparked controversy on Southern Charm by expressing her attraction to Austen Kroll while he was still involved with Audrey Pratt. During the episode that aired on Wednesday, November 26, Salley, 30, shared her feelings with friends Rodrigo Reyes and Molly O’Connell, stating, “I’m a girls’ girl, I love Audrey, but my personality fits with Austen very well.”
When contemplating whether she would pursue a relationship with Austen, Salley humorously remarked, “The day after they break up, let’s go!”
Upon hearing this conversation, Molly, 37, relayed the information to Madison LeCroy, who was visibly taken aback. “Should we, like, make a bet? Who’s going to hook up with who?” Madison, 35, suggested.
Molly rolled her eyes at the unfolding drama, stating, “Oh, God.”
Later, Austen and Audrey attended Salley’s beach party titled “Salley Sells Singles by the Sea Shore,” where Madison disclosed Salley’s crush. “So are Craig [Conover] and Salley a thing?” Audrey inquired after noticing Salley flirting with Craig. Madison responded, “Honestly, I think Salley has the hots for Austen.” Audrey reacted with a surprised expression, saying, “OK.”
At the episode’s conclusion, Audrey confronted Austen about what she had heard regarding Salley’s feelings. The conversation turned awkward as Austen insisted, “Oh, my gosh. That’s not true. Salley likes Craig. And Salley is the class flirt.” He added, “With that being said, I do like her. I can joke with her and play football. I don’t want to think every time I’m speaking with her it’s not OK.”
Audrey acknowledged Austen’s feelings but cautioned, “It’s all well and good, but we’ll have a breaking point if it gets too far.” (Austen confirmed to Us Weekly on November 13 that he and Audrey had ended their relationship earlier in the year after nearly two years of dating.)

Despite her comments about Austen, Salley seemed more focused on her chemistry with Craig, 36, throughout the episode. “I was in Craig’s hot tub until 4 in the morning. We were just doing shots. It was fun,” she told Venita Aspen, referring to their one-on-one time after Madison’s baby shower in a previous episode.
When Craig arrived at her beach party, Salley was visibly enthusiastic, but Craig appeared more interested in her single friend, Charley Manley. “What the f***?” Salley exclaimed during a confessional after witnessing Craig and Charley swimming together.
Salley confronted Charley about her behavior, but Charley denied any intent to capture Craig’s attention, stating, “It was not like that at all.” However, Salley remained skeptical. “You’re full of s***. I’m not a f***ing idiot; I can see when someone is flirting, and they were right in front of my face,” she told the cameras.
Before the premiere of season 11, the cast of Southern Charm hinted at a love triangle involving Craig, Charley, and Salley. “It came out of nowhere,” Salley remarked exclusively to Us earlier this month regarding the unexpected attraction between her and Charley towards Craig. “I didn’t know if she would even like any of them.”
Charley also expressed her discomfort with the situation, stating, “Salley and I don’t disagree or ever really get into fights. To have this uncomfortable area of our friendship was definitely difficult.”
Southern Charm airs on Bravo Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET.
