A recently unsealed email has revealed that Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman were present during an alleged confrontation involving Ryan Reynolds and Justin Baldoni, amid ongoing legal disputes involving Reynolds and his wife, Blake Lively.
According to People magazine, a meeting took place on April 25, 2023, at Reynolds and Lively’s New York City penthouse. During this meeting, Reynolds reportedly expressed his frustration towards Baldoni, criticizing him for inquiring about Lively’s weight.
The email indicates that Baldoni felt “completely embarrassed” and offered an immediate apology during the encounter.
Furthermore, Baldoni reportedly became emotional, even shedding tears, as noted in the email sent from Jamey Heath’s team, co-founder of Wayfarer Studios, to Baldoni’s publicist in July 2024.
Both Jackman and Swift have been included on a list of potential witnesses submitted by Lively’s legal team.

In May 2025, Baldoni’s team made headlines when they attempted to subpoena Swift. However, her representative stated, “Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie, she was not involved in any casting or creative decisions, she did not score the film, she never saw an edit or made any notes on the film, she did not even see ‘It Ends with Us’ until weeks after its public release, and was traveling around the globe during 2023 and 2024 headlining the biggest tour in history.”
Currently, Lively is pursuing legal action against Baldoni for allegations of sexual harassment and defamation, which Baldoni has denied. A trial is scheduled for March 2026.
