Travis Kelce celebrated Thanksgiving on the football field as the Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the Dallas Cowboys, while Taylor Swift appeared to support her fiancé from a distance.
The 35-year-old pop icon was not present at the away game held on Thursday, November 27, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Earlier in the week, Swift attended Kelce’s home game on Sunday, November 23, at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, where the Chiefs triumphed over the Indianapolis Colts in overtime, improving their record for the 2025-2026 season to 6-5.
This season, Swift has frequently attended Kelce’s home games, opting for a more discreet presence compared to previous years. Sources informed Us Weekly in October that the attention surrounding her had become “excessive.” To date, she has not traveled to any away games this season.
As Kelce navigates his demanding NFL schedule, he and Swift are looking forward to their first holiday season as an engaged couple following his proposal in August.
“Their plans will be very low-key and family-oriented, without any significant travel,” a source revealed to Us regarding their holiday arrangements in October. With Chiefs games scheduled for both Thanksgiving and Christmas, the couple intends to spend quality time with their families.
“Travis fits seamlessly into her family, and Taylor has a close bond with [his mother] Donna. They communicate regularly,” the insider added. “They prioritize seeing both families as much as possible. Their shared family values are a significant aspect of their relationship.”
Last year, Swift and Kelce marked their first Thanksgiving together after she was in South America for her Eras Tour in November 2023. Swift’s family, including her mother Andrea and father Scott, reportedly hosted the Kelce family in Nashville for Thanksgiving in 2024, before they headed to Kansas City for the Chiefs’ game against the Las Vegas Raiders the following day.
Regarding their Christmas traditions, Swift attended Kelce’s Christmas Day game against the Raiders in December 2023, but was absent for the away game against the Pittsburgh Steelers the following year. This Christmas, she is expected to be at Arrowhead Stadium as the Chiefs face the Denver Broncos at home.
As the holiday season approaches, Swift and Kelce have settled into a comfortable domestic life following their engagement.
“Given their high-profile careers, they appreciate the simplicity and normalcy they find together,” a source shared with Us in October. Another insider added, “Taylor and Travis lead a relaxed lifestyle. On a typical evening, they enjoy dinner and decide what to watch together. It’s very domestic and peaceful.”
Concerning their wedding plans, the couple is actively involved in the preparations. “The plans are progressing well,” according to the first source. “Taylor finds it endearing that Travis wants to participate.”
The couple hopes to marry next summer, with Swift’s Rhode Island home being considered as a potential venue. “They are not looking for a lengthy engagement,” the source noted, emphasizing their desire to start a family within the next year. “Family is incredibly important to them.”
