Niall’s past winner, Gina Myles, returned to perform “Last Christmas” with Aidan Ross. Khalid delivered a medley of “Better” and “Nah,” while Michael and Jazz McKenzie sang “Jingle Bell Rock.”
Season 26 winner Sofronio Vasquez performed “Superman,” and country artist Riley Green sang “Jesus Saves” with a simple guitar accompaniment.
More Duets and Performances
Reba McEntire and Aubrey Nicole teamed up for “Mary, Did You Know?” Snoop Dogg surprised everyone with a duet of “This Christmas” with Ralph Edwards.
Max Chambers, a Wild Card contestant, performed “Blue Christmas” with Michael Bublé, and girl group XG made their TV debut with “Gala.”
DEK Of Hearts, another Wild Card, performed “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town” with Reba.
The finale also featured a performance by Noah Cyrus and the celebrities, singing “Butterfly.”
Results
The third-place finish went to DEK of Hearts, with Ralph Edwards in second. Aidan Ross emerged as the winner of Season 28, marking Niall’s third consecutive victory as a coach.
