Camp Rock 3 is set to introduce a fresh group of campers at the fictional summer music camp, featuring appearances from popular Disney Channel stars.
In September 2025, it was announced that the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato would serve as executive producers for the third installment of the franchise. Kevin, Nick, and Joe Jonas reprised their roles as Jason, Nate, and Shane Gray, part of the band Connect 3, alongside Lovato’s character, Mitchie Torres, in the previous films.
Filming for the eagerly awaited musical sequel has commenced, with Disney releasing a video of the Jonas Brothers on set via Instagram, captioned, “We’re back!! #CampRock3 is now in production ,” in September 2025.

According to a press release, the story unfolds as Connect 3 loses their opening act for a significant reunion tour and returns to Camp Rock to find the next star. As campers compete for the chance to open for their favorite band, tensions arise, friendships are challenged, and unexpected alliances, revelations, and romances occur.

Alongside the Jonas Brothers, new campers will make their Camp Rock debut. Sherry Cola will play Lark, Liamani Segura stars as Sage, Malachi Barton as Fletch, Lumi Pollack as Rosie, Hudson Stone as Desi, Casey Trotter as Cliff, Brooklynn Pitts as Callie, and Ava Jean as Madison.
Maria Canals-Barrera will return as Connie Torres, Mitchie’s mother. While Lovato is confirmed as a producer, her on-screen appearance remains unconfirmed.

Kevin Jonas revealed on “The Squeeze” in November 2025 that they filmed Camp Rock while on tour. “We’re executive producing and filming it, and it’s wonderful to pass the baton to a new generation,” he said. “While we’re involved, these kids are incredibly talented, surpassing us in dance and performance.”

Veronica Rodriguez will direct the film, with a script by Eydie Faye. Produced by Disney Branded Television, the film will feature choreography by Jamal Sims. Serving as executive producers are the Jonas Brothers, Lovato, Betsy Sullenger, Spencer Berman, and Gary Marsh.

The first teaser for Camp Rock 3 was released on December 4, 2025, showcasing nostalgic scenes including guitars, a canoe, and the camp’s dining hall. Although Lovato was absent from the video, Mitchie’s songbook appeared, sparking curiosity about her potential return.
“Music, friendship, memories,” Nick voiced in the trailer, reprising his role as Nate.
“We’re back. Exactly where we’re supposed to be,” Joe stated as Shane.
“Still no birdhouse,” Kevin remarked as Jason.
The teaser confirmed that Camp Rock 3 will premiere on Disney Channel and Disney+ in summer 2026.
