2025 has proven challenging for television, with numerous beloved series being discontinued. CBS has made several unexpected moves, including the cancellation of S.W.A.T. Executive producer Andrew Dettmann described the decision as “heartbreaking,” highlighting the dedication of the cast and crew over eight seasons. Additionally, ABC announced the indefinite suspension of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, although it stopped short of declaring a full cancellation.

S.W.A.T.
In March, the team behind S.W.A.T. gathered to seek support for reviving the show. Lead actor Shemar Moore expressed gratitude to fans on Instagram, stating, “I’m no quitter.”

CBS also decided to end FBI: International, as reported by Deadline, to allocate resources to other ongoing shows.
