Dhurandhar Music Launch: Ranveer Singh’s Electrifying Performance
Renowned actor Ranveer Singh captivated the audience during the music launch of the film Dhurandhar. The event, also graced by Sara Arjun, Hanumankind, Madhubanti Bagchi, Jasmine Sandlas, and Shahzad Ali, saw Singh delivering a memorable performance. Sahil Khattar, who shared the stage with Singh in the 2021 film ’83, hosted the evening.
Memories of ’83
Reflecting on his time working on ’83, Singh shared, “Some films succeed, others don’t. What remains are the memories and friendships formed. Sahil Khattar is particularly dear to me.”
Singh’s dynamic entry on stage was marked by his lively interaction with Khattar. He humorously remarked, “Hand me a mic, and I’ll take over your duties!” to which Khattar responded, “That’s your charm!”
Musical Performances
Singh expressed his appreciation for the evening’s energy and playfully interacted with fans, promising hugs of gratitude. He then entertained the audience by singing the title song, though he humorously admitted, “I can’t sing like Hanumankind.”
Tribute to Shashwat Sachdev
Singh paid tribute to music composer Shashwat Sachdev, acknowledging his absence due to finalizing the film’s music. Singh praised Sachdev’s recent hits, including the song ‘Ghafoor’, and highlighted the film’s diverse musical talent, featuring artists like Arijit Singh, Diljit Dosanjh, Sonu Nigam, and others.
Underlining the importance of music, Singh stated, “Music encapsulates the film’s memory. While films might be watched a few times, songs are replayed, allowing the experience to linger.”
Dance-Off with Kings United
The event featured performances by Shahzad Ali, Madhubanti Bagchi, and Jasmine Sandlas. Singh joined them on stage, and during a dance performance by Kings United, he playfully challenged them to a dance-off but humorously backed off upon witnessing their skills. The dancers lifting him into the air marked a highlight of the night.
The evening concluded with a performance on the title track, leaving Singh overwhelmed as he engaged with fans off-stage.
