General Hospital Thursday, December 18 Recap: Willow Traffic Cam Footage Gone, Anna’s Creepy Gift from ‘C’

On the episode of General Hospital aired on Thursday, December 18, significant developments unfolded. The traffic camera footage involving Willow Cain, portrayed by Katelyn MacMullen, was missing. Meanwhile, Anna Devane, played by Finola Hughes, received an unsettling present from someone identified as “C.”

Early Celebrations and Tensions

At the residence of Carly Spencer, played by Laura Wright, Jack Brennan, portrayed by Chris McKenna, presented her with a necklace as an early Christmas gift. Carly explained her increased time at home, while Brennan expressed frustration over Lulu Spencer, played by Alexa Havins Bruening, interfering with his attempts to speak with Charlotte Cassadine about Valentin Cassadine, portrayed by James Patrick Stuart.

After Carly offered her assistance, Brennan left, allowing Valentin to join Carly in the kitchen. Their conversation shifted to Carly’s initial involvement with Brennan, recalling her visits to him in prison to seek help with FBI matters. This was during a period when John “Jagger” Cates, played by Adam Harrington, was compelling Jason Morgan, portrayed by Steve Burton, to collaborate with him.

Carly reminisced about facing racketeering charges, and Valentin speculated that Brennan might have used the WSB to dismiss the evidence. Carly realized Brennan had done so without mentioning it, despite them not dating at the time. Valentin suggested Brennan was saving this information for future leverage.

Reunions and Financial Dilemmas

At Café Cherie, Brad Cooper, played by Parry Shen, and Britt Westbourne, portrayed by Kelly Thiebaud, enjoyed a lavish meal with champagne to celebrate their reunion. Britt recounted her stay at the Five Poppies Resort and her struggles with a cold fusion project due to required medication.

The discussion turned to Britt’s orders from Jenz Sidwell, played by Carlo Rota, leading Brad to realize Sidwell was the father of Lucas Jones’ new partner, Marco Rios, portrayed by Adrian Anchondo. When the bill arrived, Britt expected Brad to pay, but he revealed financial constraints due to a previous relationship. Britt, without her medical license, was also unable to cover the expense, leaving them both in a predicament.

Confrontations and Captivity

At Lulu Spencer’s home, Brennan insisted on speaking with Charlotte, but Lulu continued to prevent access. After Brennan threatened legal action, Nathan West, played by Ryan Paevey, defended her. Brennan questioned Nathan’s memory loss and the decision to reinstate his police badge, reminding Lulu of Nathan’s familial ties to Faison.

Meanwhile, Anna, in captivity, complied with Pascal’s instructions as he delivered her meal. After exchanging words in French, Anna discovered a package beneath her tray containing the book “The Crystalline Conspiracy” by P.K. Sinclair, a pseudonym for Cesar Faison. The note inside, signed “C,” left Anna visibly shaken.

Investigations and Legal Proceedings

At Josslyn Jacks’ apartment, she checked for surveillance devices before discussing the WSB’s Five Poppies investigation with Jason. He sought information regarding Faison, Jenz Sidwell, and Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton, portrayed by Daniel Goddard. Although Josslyn hesitated to commit treason, she trusted Jason more than Brennan.

In the courtroom, Dante Falconeri, played by Dominic Zamprogna, conversed with ADA Justine Turner, portrayed by Nazneen Contractor, during a recess. The original traffic cam footage of Willow was missing, leading Turner to strategize on handling the situation. Once court reconvened, Tracy Quartermaine, played by Jane Elliot, testified about discovering Drew injured. Despite questions about a bat, Tracy denied moving it.

Alexis questioned Tracy, who recalled a secret visit by Michael Corinthos, leading her to admit not seeing Willow. Nina Reeves, portrayed by Cynthia Watros, later took the stand, admitting responsibility for Willow’s false alibi. During another recess, Alexis expressed concern over the missing footage and upcoming challenges.

Dante later testified about the traffic cam video, but ADA Turner could only present time-stamped images, not the footage itself. Alexis contested the evidence, and the judge ruled the photos inadmissible. Subsequently, ADA Turner called Kristina Corinthos-Davis, played by Kate Mansi, as the next witness.

The trial involving Willow is expected to intensify as the week progresses.
