Every December, Spotify curates personalized lists showcasing users’ top music and podcasts, marking 2025 as the 11th edition of this tradition.
Spotify describes Wrapped as “an interactive experience reflecting each user’s music journey throughout the year,” serving as a “thank you to users, artists, creators, and authors globally.”
The platform releases global and local rankings of top artists and podcasts annually. This year, Bad Bunny surpassed Taylor Swift, the 2023 and 2024 recipient, to become the Top Global Artist of 2025, amassing over 19.8 billion streams. Swift, however, led the Top U.S. Artists chart for 2025.

Spotify Wrapped 2025: Top Artists
Bad Bunny achieved the title of Spotify’s Top Global Artist of 2025, surpassing Taylor Swift. He is the first artist to secure the top position four times, having previously led in 2020, 2021, and 2022.
Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, reached 19.8 billion streams. Spotify emphasized his top status as “earned by the listeners.” He headlined a 31-date concert series in Puerto Rico and will perform at the Super Bowl LX halftime show in February 2026.
In recognition of his success, Spotify will collaborate with Bad Bunny’s Good Bunny Foundation and the Rimas Foundation to launch a Mobile Academy in Puerto Rico, providing musical resources and scholarships.
Swift ranked second on Spotify’s Top Global Artist chart, followed by The Weeknd, Drake, and Billie Eilish.
Bad Bunny’s album Debí Tirar Más Fotos was the Global Top Album of 2025, ahead of the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack and Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft. Morgan Wallen’s I’m The Problem was the Top U.S. Album, with SZA’s SOS Deluxe: LANA and Bad Bunny’s album following.

Swift led as Spotify’s Top U.S. Artist, followed by Drake, Morgan Wallen, Kendrick Lamar, and Bad Bunny. Her album The Life of a Showgirl, released in October, is expected to impact next year’s charts significantly.
The Global Top Song of 2025 was “Die With a Smile” by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, with Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather” in second. Other top songs included “APT.” by Rosé and Mars, “Ordinary” by Alex Warren, and Bad Bunny’s “DtMF.”
The U.S. Top Song was Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “luther (with sza),” followed by Gaga and Mars’ “Die With A Smile” and Warren’s “Ordinary.”
Top Podcasts of 2025 on Spotify
“The Joe Rogan Experience” was the Top Global Podcast for the sixth consecutive year.
“The Diary Of A CEO with Steven Bartlett” and “The Mel Robbins Podcast” followed in second and third places. “Call Her Daddy” and “This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von” completed the top five.
In the U.S., “The Joe Rogan Experience” also led the Top 10 Podcasts chart, ahead of “This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von” and “The Mel Robbins Podcast.”
