Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber‘s son, Presley Gerber, has candidly discussed his mental health medication regimen to promote transparency.

On December 1, Presley, 26, shared an Instagram video captioned, “Here’s some clarity for ya — the truth will set you free (hopefully) haha,” where he spoke about his personal challenges.

“I believe honesty is the best policy,” Presley stated, detailing his current medications, including one milligram of Buprenorphine twice daily, which treats opioid use disorder and pain.

He noted that his benzodiazepine dosage has varied due to recent personal losses, explaining that these events are “the reason why I am where I’m at now.”

Benzodiazepines help to slow down brain and nervous system activity, treating anxiety and related conditions, as noted by the Cleveland Clinic.

Presley, speaking from a sauna, mentioned taking small doses of Xanax at night or during severe panic attacks, and Valium with varying dosages.

He admitted uncertainty about his medication levels, expressing concern over differing medical opinions.

Regarding antidepressants, Presley increased his Mirtazapine dosage from 15 to 22.5 milligrams.
